This lovely paper bunting has been up-cycled from a rescued copy of the beautiful book, The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady by Edith Holden. In 1906, Edith Holden recorded in words and paintings the flora and fauna of the British countryside through the seasons. This bunting has been made from some of her gorgeous pictures and words from Autumn.
There are 8 flags, each approximately 14 cm wide x 17.5 cm long
The bunting is designed to be viewed from one side only and isn't really suitable for use outdoors - well, it IS paper after all!
The bunting has been threaded with rescued cream wool. If the flags were placed end to end, the bunting would be 1m 26 cm (4ft 2in) long. We’ve included additional wool so that you can spread the flags out on the wool if you want to - they slide easily - and there will still be plenty of wool to hang up the bunting.
This listing is for ONE garland of bunting - the garland you receive may not have exactly the same flags as in the photos but will have a beautiful selection of Edith Holden's gorgeous pictures
Three metres (over 3 yards or 9ft 10 in) of yarn allow you to spread the flags out as much or as little as you wish, depending on where you want to hang this beautiful garland. (Please note the yarn will be cream and not the colour shown in the photos)
