94% Silk, 6% Elastane, 19mm Padding 100% cotton
I use a silk spandex mix because I’ve found it frays less and little extra stretch can help with a more comfortable fit. I would recommend a gentle hand wash and following the silk care guide enclosed with your order.
What is silk satin? Some people may tell you satin is synthetic but satin is just a type of fabric weave and it can be made from different fibres including silk. While it can be made from polyester, it can also be made from real silk. Real silk satin has a softer sheen rather than a plastic shine. Silk is a natural fibre woven from silkworm cocoons made of two proteins, sericin and fibroin. The smoothness of the silk fibre and satin weave combines to help reduce hair breakages, split ends and frizz. Silk is less absorbent than other fabrics so it won't take precious moisture away from your hair and skin which prevents dryness.
