The Christmas Eve box is a wonderful growing tradition making Christmas Eve as magical as Christmas Day itself. Our luxury handmade box can be filled treats for the festive period, whether that be Christmas pyjamas, sweets, books or even food for Rudolph! Our Christmas Eve box is supplied empty so you can fill it with treats to suit your family - and the contents can change as your family does.
Handcrafted by us, the Christmas Eve box is not only a lovely keepsake for your family, it would make a magical family gift for your friends and families too.
Variations
Handcrafted and hand-painted in our Lincolnshire workshop and studio, the wooden house Christmas Eve Box will help to make your Christmas Eve very special every year. Supplied empty for you to fill with your choice of gifts, the box is painted to look like a house, complete with a Christmas tree in the window and a Christmas wreath on the door. You can re-use it year after year and it's sturdy enough to even become a storage box between each Christmas Eve.
The Christmas Eve box can also be used as a hamper to fill with speciality food to delight loved ones over Christmas.
The box can be personalised on the front with a name up to 15 characters - we will automatically add the phrase 'Christmas Eve Box' - making it a very special item for your family to treasure. A Christmas keepsake that you'll want to use for Christmas Eves again and again.

The external measurements of the Christmas Eve box are (including chimneys) approximately 36cm high x 26cm wide and 32cm deep. Internally it's approximately 24cm high x 23cm wide and 30cm deep.

This personalised Christmas Eve box is carefully handmade by us here at Lindleywood, We have been handcrafting our painted wooden boxes since 2008 from high-grade sustainable European redwood pine (known as Scot's Pine) supplied by a small local woodmerchant. They are then handpainted with hard-wearing water-based wood paints. These paints, by Little Greene, a small independent British manufacturer from the northwest of England (who have been creating paints since 1773), enable us to create beautiful products. These paints comply with European Standard BS EN 71-3:1995 (better known as the 'Toy Paint Regulations') so are safe for children too.
PLEASE NOTE that all items are individually handmade and personalised by us in the UK and each one takes time to produce. Because of the handmade nature, one item will differ slightly from another and may not appear exactly as in the photographs of other products. This means that each product is entirely unique and extremely individual!
Also note that as we make each item from wood there may some variation in grain. Over time there may also be movement in joints and surfaces. This is down to the nature of ‘real wood' as opposed to synthetic materials and we feel further adds to the individuality of each product.

Delivery info
DISPATCH: We handcraft every item to order and rarely carry stock so we will dispatch as soon as your order is made. The estimated dispatch/lead time for all products is listed on each individual product page and is dependent on the type of product and time of year.
Please note that during the summer holidays we operate a longer than usual lead time - this is purely because we are a family business with primary school-aged children and are rather partial to spending time with them doing things like building dens, taking country walks and bike rides, and visiting museums (and we like the occasional camping holiday!) If you need an item on a shorter lead time than that given, please email prior to ordering and we might be able to help.
DELIVERY: We use UPS for all our deliveries. Delivery usually takes 1-3 working days after our dispatch for mainland UK and 2-5 days for other areas, and will require a signature. Delivery to a neighbour is acceptable too.
Please note that product delivery only takes place MONDAY-FRIDAY and the quoted dispatch and/or delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed, unless we have agreed prior to placing your order that we will ship by a certain date.
UK delivery is included in our product prices.
Returns
You have 28 days, from receipt of cancellable goods, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Please note: goods that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements, perishable products and personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken are non-refundable, unless faulty.
