A delicate handmade Poppy seedhead, the poppy is a hopeful flower, a symbol of peace, recovery and restful sleep.
Variations
Drawn in murals by the ancient Egyptians, and used by the Romans to heal wounds inflicted by love, Ancient Greeks belived that fields of corn would not flourish with out the presence of poppies. Indeed they thrive in the margins of rich arable land alongside golden barley and wheat with abundant seedheads at harvest time.
Display them either individualy or combined with others in a group arrangment in a vase or vintage bottle. Place by a window for the true beauty of colored glass to be revealed.
Available in two different heights. 25 cm and 30 cm.

Made from handcut pieces of translucent glass, copper foil and copper wire using the Tiffany method of stained glass. polish gently using a microfibre cloth when required.
