Hands on half day experience to learn the ancient craft of steam bending to create your own hanging planter, held in the Suffolk countryside.
There is minimal demonstrating from us during this workshop. Our goal is to get you involved and making within a very short time of arriving. The half day course will be spent creating your own stylish wooden planter.
Steam bend your planter segments in two stages
Make a cork hanging tab with your choice of cork fabric colour
Sand and finish the planter with your choice of oil colour
Assemble your planter ready to hang up when you arrive home

Closed toe shoes and ties for long hair.All equipment and materials for the day are provided.
Who is running it?
Madeleine and Myles are qualified Product Designers who have been running a successful business specialising in steam bending since 2012. Madeleine is also a qualified teacher and their combined skills make this workshop educational, engaging and fulfilling. They enjoy passing on their skills and passion through their workshops.
