Distinction - Precision - Craftsmanship
Justin Richardson has been a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths since 2001 and is also a Freeman of the City of London. Since 1991 he has been winning many awards for craftsmanship and design from the Goldsmiths’ Company Craft and Design Council – “the Jewellery Oscars”.
The Octavo watch collection itself has been awarded four prizes including the coveted Gold.
With a passion for watches, Justin has created a beautiful and unique range of timepieces for both men and women. His collection of watches is sure to set the bar in bold and innovative watch design. Inspired by a passion for vintage cars these watches combine true craftsmanship with sophistication and design.
Inspired Elegance
These innovative British-made watches with distinctive shaped cases are all individually created in sterling silver and combine immaculate timekeeping with the distinctive style of contemporary jewellery.
Each watch is made using a unique blend of modern technology and traditional goldsmithing craftsmanship. Components are built from a 3D CAD file, cast in sterling silver, then painstakingly hand finished and polished. There is a choice of natural silver, rhodium plated silver or the unique texture of the mokume gane dials. Each watch is then fitted with a Swiss quartz movement.
As a bespoke jeweller, Justin combines his expertise in fine jewellery with his passion for watch making, therefore creating watches which are distinctive in design and style. These watches recognize that people want to wear a watch as a piece of jewellery as much as an instrument for telling the time.
