Gorgeous handmade large area rug in a stunning natural jute with a subtle abstract woven diamond pattern. Substantial 5ft by 7ft size, runners also available.Beautiful well sized area rugs which are a wonderful addition to the living room, office or bedroom. The textured finish works well on hard floors as well as carpeted rooms. I have nicknamed this rug the Polki which means uncut, polished diamond in Hindi, from the beautiful yet slightly raw finish as well as the woven pattern, reminiscent of a the gem stone.

Made from

Handwoven in India from sustainable. jute in primarily natural jute with some lighter dyed pattern. These rugs are lovingly produced in rural Rajasthan, just outside of Jaipur. Rather than aa flat weave, these rugs use a looped technique and have a wonderful and unusual texture.
