This rather special memorial ashes necklace is hand made from sterling silver in the U.K. and features that much loved garden bird, the robin. A symbol of hope and rebirth, it is widely believed that a visit from a robin is a sign that a loved one's spirit is visting. The front piece of the locket swivels aside to reveal your loved one's cherished ashes, encased within clear resin, together with crushed red crystal and opal, which gives a burst of irridescent colour. The back of the locket can also be engraved with a personalised message of your choice, we can even use your own handwriting if you wish. The locket is complete with a sterling silver rolo chain, and arrives presented in an eco-friendly Hold upon Heart gift box and gift bag, together with a complimentary silver polish cloth.
Providing ashes:
Once we receive your order we will send a kit to enable you to collect a small amount of your loved one's cremation ashes. Our kit includes a sealable plastic bag and spoon, both made from biodegradeable material. We will require a teaspoon of ashes for each item ordered, and will of course return any unused ashes together with your jewellery.
A return envelope is included for ease, however return postage will need to be paid as where possible, we advise sending memorial ashes using Royal Mail's Special Delivery service, to ensure their safe arrival.
MAKING TIME
Our memorial jewellery is lovingly hand made to order and each piece totally unique. Such special pieces should not be rushed and we do need time to ensure each piece is created to our high standards. You will need to allow for 6 to 8 weeks for this item to be made, beginning from receipt of ashes in the studio. The delivery date given above refers to delivery of the ashes collection kit only, not the completed item of jewellery. An estimated delivery date will be provided upon receipt of your ashes.
