Hi, I'm Charlotte and I run The Carriage Trade Company from my sunny garden studio in Edinburgh, Scotland.

I'm inspired by simple, affordable and high quality design. For me, less is often more - there's no need to overcomplicate things. I'm very proud of my products, a collection of gifts and jewellery which I would give as gifts to my family and friends.

I hope my customers will not only be delighted with their orders as soon as they arrive, but that they might become treasured keepsakes - memories of a special occasion, perhaps passed down from one generation to the next. I love the idea of a mother lending her daughter a pair of pearl earrings on her wedding day, or a father choosing his son's first pair of cufflinks. A bookmark for a grandfather, engraved with the names of his grandchildren, or a personalised padlock asking someone to marry them.
