Rosewood & Ivorine Pepper & Salt Mills

A careful recreation of a Victorian antique and a traditional butter churn design, these sterling silver rosewood and ivorine salt mill exhibit the same craftsmanship as a century-old original, but with simple improvements.

The salt mill is fitted with a durable nylon mechanism, resistant to corrosion by salt, while the pepper mill has a modern grinder. Both can be adjusted to give a fine to coarse grind.

As the use of real ivory is now frowned upon, for the salt mill we have used Ivorine, a man-made ivory substitute used for nearly a century by jewellers and billiard ball makers.

We can personalise the pepper and salt mill with a name or short message on the silver bands.
