Welcome to Hashtag House

After studying Graphic Design at University and graduating in 2014 Laura set up Hashtag House from her workshop in Yorkshire. Armed with a sketchpad and a laser cutter Laura's aim was to challenge the traditional processes in print design and create a unique alternative for the homeware market using the laser to engrave and cut into the substrate rather than printing on top of it. The outcome was beautifully individual products that utilise the natural qualities of the wood and paper they are made from; a range of original gifts for yourself or a loved one.

Hashtag House is very much a one woman operation with Laura designing, making, packing and shipping each product. Every single design started out as an original ink drawing and each laser engraved print is then made with the same passion and attention to detail as the first.
