Sunny Says began with a simple idea: to create something special for my baby. I designed a range of first word illustrations just for him - pieces I couldn’t find anywhere else. Since he adores his dogs, they naturally became part of the artwork too. That’s where the idea for bespoke pet portraits truly came to life.

The name Sunny Says comes from his favourite bear, Sunny - a little companion who inspired a world of creativity and joy.

With a background in design and years of experience working with high-street brands (and even running my own successful gifting business once upon a time), creativity has always been at the heart of what I do. Life has changed, and Sunny Says is my fresh start - a space to create meaningful, hand-drawn keepsakes that celebrate the ones we love most, especially our pets.

Based in Bath, UK, every portrait is made with care, joy, and plenty of personality - just like the furry friends they’re inspired by.
