I am so pleased with the way this plaque has turned out, its really beautiful. This is the first year I have grown Queen Anne's lace & its now my favourite plant!
The plaques are made by pressing real seed heads and plants into clay. They are then removed, a frame put round & plaster poured over. When this is dry the clay is peeled away to reveal the 3D impression with an incredible amount of detail. Real flowers are lovely but do not last long, by casting them I am preserving them to be enjoyed forever.
Each plaque is signed on the back & have 2 keyhole brackets for hanging on a wall, or look equally good desplayed on a shelf. This would be a perfect gift for anyone who loves plants, flowers, gardening or nature, something they can treasure.
