Chromakane is an award-winning studio founded by French-Malaysian Chinese artist, Jessie Cohen. Chromakane’s fine art, homeware and lifestyle collections celebrate an eclectic way of life and hope to bring cultures together, with references to pop, irezumi and folk styles. Chromakane’s approach as a small business is experimental, creating playful combinations of form, shape and colour, and merging various art techniques (such as digital, painting, giclée, lino and screen printing) with conscious and archival processes.
We're committed to low waste and archival design
Our collections of home textiles and stationery goods are designed in-house by the artist, and manufactured with our local print partner on demand, meaning that our products virtually do not exist until an order is placed. Every piece we create undergoes an in-house quality check process. We’ll also always prioritise the most sustainable and protective packaging possible, choosing FSC certified options which are recycled, recyclable and/or compostable even down to our plastic sleeves.
