    Product description

    Tibetan sheep's wool rug inspired by the undulations of the Himalayan mountain range. Woven in Nepal by Fairtrade weavers. Medium pile. Hand tufted.

    Bespoke and larger rug sizes are made to order. Made to order rugs take 3 months to weave.

    The wool colours are hand dyed by the Nepalese weavers, who pioneered the Fairtrade initiative in Nepal. They are also a charitable organisation who help Nepalese women and children.

    The rug is sold direct from the UK designer, Julia Brooks.

    Care instructions: dry clean or handwash.

    Variations

    Bespoke and large sizes available. The maximum size the weavers are able to work to is 517 x 732cms (203.5 x 288.1 inches).

    100 knots per inch (for a finer quality) is also possible.

    Rug size: 100 x 141cms (39.3 x 55.5 inches) plus tassels

    Made from

    100% Tibetan sheep wool. 60 knots per inch. 93,000 knots per square metre.

    All dyes are AZO free.
