This magnificent Welsh Dragon Tree Topper is a statement piece on top of your Christmas tree or you may choose to display him all year round. Hand wrought copper, it comes with this label on the box: “This Welsh Dragon Tree Topper is a hand wrought copper version of the one on the Welsh Flag. The red dragon of Wales has been symbolic of the country since at least the fifth century. The flag, also called Y Ddraig Goch, has been the national flag of Wales since 1959. Made in Scotland by Carrie Fertig.”

The solid copper body is photo etched and then hand hammered. The wings and curly tail are covered in hammer mark. The rest of the body is formed by hammering the copper into a wooden stump. A copper tube on the back provides secure attachment to your tree, just slip it over the top. Or use it to slide over a hook and display him proudly all year round in your home.
