We are The Card Wala Co. We create fun, personalised cards and gifts for different ethnicities. Our mission is to bring smiles to the faces of your loved ones.

Started in 2020 by medical student, Sheena Karia, The Card Wala Co. came about when Sheena was looking for personalised birthday cards for her grandparents (affectionately known as ‘Nana’ and ‘Nani’ in Hindu culture) who coincidentally share the same birthday. Sheena wanted a card with a personal touch, something that would bring a smile to their faces and something they could relate to from a Hindu culture.

As you may have guessed there was nothing on the market. Sheena being a keen artist in her spare time outside of completing her degree in medicine, decided to make her own cards. A few months down the line Sheena had sold hundreds of cards for every occasion including birthdays, anniversaries, engagements, Diwali (the Hindu festival of light), Raksha Bandhan (a festival celebrating the special bond of siblings) and Christmas.

Sheena then teamed up with her sister Sona (another talented artist) in order to help The Card Wala Co meet increased customer demand and expand the range of our cards and gifts to cover even more celebrations from around the globe.

A particular highlight from our range is our bestselling colour-your-own personalised cards and marker set for all occasions – these are a great way to get children excited about festivities and encourage them to create personal cards for their loved ones.
