Wrens Watercolour Greeting Card

A beautifully illustrated wrens watercolour art card, part of Alexia's Collective Nouns range.

On the reverse of the card are a collection of fun facts all about wrens. The collective noun for a group of wrens is a 'chime of wrens'. Alexia has illustrated multiple wrens in many different ways to show them at their best.

This 'chime of wrens' print is the the 9th in a series of 12 collective noun artworks.

Hand painted by Alexia in her UK countryside studio, she uses watercolours and pencil to create this work. All the illustrations have been carefully and thoughtfully composed before painting, so that they fit together in a fluid way. There has been no digital painting for this piece, it is painted traditionally.
