Hello! Alaynas Home is a family owned homeware business, with the team consisting of 2.
Our ethnicity is Bangladeshi so we have always been surrounded with beautiful home pieces and rattan furniture both here in the UK and in Bangladesh, as rattan and natural furniture is something that is very nostalgic of our heritage. This has played a huge factor when we are designing products for our business.
When we are not designing home pieces for our small business, we are looking after our 2 little munchkins, with the business being named after our youngest.
We are a ethical brand with our focus being on fair-trade and promoting slow-fashion.
Our parents and the need to help those in 3rd world countries were the drive and inspiration to start this business, because when my father came to this country from Bangladesh with only the clothes on his back, he didn’t have many options; he worked hard doing menial jobs and his sacrifice has opened up so many doors for us; because of this; today I have carved out our very own business and want to give that success back by helping other small businesses.
We are a fair-trade business who supports smaller businesses by paying up front, sharing costs and making sure everyone gets paid equally within the chain.
