Toby Froment Furniture was built around a love for all things unique. It was born from a dream to make individual pieces for your home after working as a cabinet maker and joiner for 5 years. I create pieces entirely by hand in my workshop based in Cambridge, UK.

I create timeless, classic pieces of furniture which I envision to be family heirlooms, treasured for generations to come. I am heavily influenced by the aesthetics of Japanese and Scandinavian living. ‘Isshoni’ meaning together in Japanese is a term I have in mind when designing. I want to foster the sense of togetherness in the home.

All of my furniture is based around natural forms, organic shapes and materials such as Rattan and Danish Cord with most of my pieces being wooden. By owning a piece of Toby Froment Furniture, I hope it brings a piece of nature into your home. I am a big believer in respecting what the world has given us, which is why I treat these natural materials with the upmost respect. Each piece of wood comes from a tree that holds many stories and through the items I make I want families to add their own.
