This stunning 1920's original, vintage Art Deco poster was designed by Freda Lingtrom, a Scandinavian female artist who was well known for her poster designs.
It shows a young girl palying with two butterflies, with striking oranges and greens that are repeated in the stylised boarder. It is advertising Cheap Fares For School And Pleasure Parties London's Underground.
The poster is signed by the artist with in the lithograph.
Framed in a solid oak wooden frame. Each oak frame is slightly different with natural grains running through the wood.
Dimensions of the poster: 102cm x 62cm (40” x 25”). Framed dimensions: 106.6cm x 68.5cm (42" x 27").
Condition: Excellent, minor creases.

Like most posters of this period it was printed to the highest of standards. Known as a lithographic poster, lithography was a highly skilled process, and very time consuming.
