Every day since mid-summer’s day in 2005, our team of professional photographers have captured stunning landscape images of the dawn rising showing how the world looked on that special date.
All our photographs can be completely personalised with a message of your choice, or left blank. Our Studio then prints, mounts, and frames (as required) your unique product, before sending it out to our customers.
Some personalisation examples:
- Henry's First Day - 11th May 2009
- Tom and Lucy’s Wedding Day - 8th May 2009
- The Day we bought No.59 - 13th August 2006
Whilst our images make truly unique birth, christening or wedding gifts, they can commemorate any special occasion: special birthdays, anniversaries or personal achievements.
Our images really are a lasting reminder of a very special day and will be kept for generations to come.
We offer a choice of size and frames as well as gift vouchers, which allow for the recipient to choose their own image.
So, how does it work?
When you wish to order one of our images, contact us using the 'ask seller a question' button with your special date. We will respond with a link which shows the editor's choice image from your special date.
You can then return to the product page to place your order.

The Day That was born on the same day as Teddy.
Teddy’s first day was beautiful. One of those optimistic spring days when the sky is brilliantly blue and the light picks out everything to perfection. Feeling inspired by the concept and connection of that specific day, a professional framed photograph was presented to Teddy's parents, our friends.
They loved it. Their family and friends saw the picture, and word started to spread. Initially called “My First Day”, the business took a new direction on Midsummer’s Day in 2005. That morning, we began taking photographs of the sunrise, 'the day that', and we have taken photographs in the Westcountry every day since then.
That’s what we now curate – a unique library of days. The only photographers in the UK to do this, we have every striped sunrise and dramatic dawn going back over 13 years.
What we've learnt over the years is that every day is different. Every day brings its own beauty.
Which is your special day?
