My name is Chrissie, and I live in Leamington Spa with my own little beasts.

I make personalised and custom artwork including, but not limited to, pet portraits and wildlife illustrations. I have drawn animals since I was little, and I do it simply because I love it.

My style of illustration is loose and expressive, and despite experimenting with other styles in the past I found that it came most naturally to me to draw in this way.

I always aim to capture a sense of immediacy, movement and spirit.

In the past I have worked on large scale murals indoors and out, editorial and covers, and sold prints and original works through social media.

The tool that helped me discover my particular niche was a Rotring art pen, the first art pen i ever bought. I then progressed to a dip pen and Japanese ink, which gave exciting and sometimes unexpected results.

I began by digitally scanning work and making adjustments in Photoshop. In January 2020, I invested in an iPad Pro, which has enabled me to work directly onto the screen. This has reduced my costs and allowed me to work from anywhere, saving time and money and enabling me to create prints that are high quality yet affordable.
