An astrological illuminated night skyscape of the Taurus constellation in a light box. An ideal gift for those born between April 20th and May 20th.
The Taurus constellation original woodblock print displayed within the light box looks equally beautiful when lit or unlit. Placed upon a shelf or side table in a bedroom or living area the warm soft glow of the LED's creates a lovely cosy ambience. With the added benefit of the LED's being so energy efficient the light box would also make a perfect night light.
There is an option for personalisation on the print, usually name, date of birth and constellation name. Making the lightbox an original gift idea for birth of a baby or a significant birthday.
Variations
The light box comes in a choice of black or white frame. It is glass fronted and the low voltage LED strip lights are mains powered with a UK plug, the cord length being approx 1m 45cm.

The print itself has been hand pulled from a ply woodblock using midnight blue ink with a dusting of gold pigment for added shimmer. The woodblock printing process gives the print a beautiful texture with each individual print being completely unique. The soft glow of the lights from behind the print filters through the starry sky and the cut out stars shine slightly brighter revealing the Taurus constellation's form.
The text is hand typed using a well loved vintage Imperial 66 typewriter. The gives the print an aged, old world feel in its style.
