About the teamaker
Jadri’s teas are produced in Seondol Village in Hadong, South Korea using hand-picked tea leaves. He produces his teas with a mix of hand and machine processing, with careful attention and oversight to every stage of the process.
Jadri focuses on the different aromas and flavours that can emerge from the same leaves depending on who processes them and how, documenting his teamaking process with videos and blog posts. His unique approach to processing employs traditional methods in addition to his own innovations, and it has given rise to some truly stunning flavour profiles.
The leaves are selected from a cooperative of small tea gardens that benefit from the pure air and clean waters of Jirisan mountain. This unique terroir, combined with Jadri’s skilled production methods, produces tea leaves of exceptional quality and character.
