Variations
After hand-shaping, finishing and waxing, we personalise your all wooden box by mechanically carving your chosen text into its wooden lid.
After carving your text, it is 'whitened' to show more strongly against the contrasting wood, giving the text a subtle white 'limed' look (as well as the 3D relief).

The box is skilfully aged and finished by hand. Each box will be unique!
Exact colour and patina/ grain on your box will vary depending on the batch of wood and differences in the hand finishing
The inside of the box matches the outside, however we do not sand the inside so it may have rough patches. Due to this it can pick up more of the wax in areas giving a patchy look.
