Mash & Co. immortalise kid’s drawings, taking them off the page and onto the wall by lovingly transforming a sketch into a bespoke laser cut piece of wall art.
Mash & Co. was founded in 2020 by Martha Ellis, an Edinburgh based artist.
After recreating kids’ works of art into laser cut drawings as gifts for family and friends, Martha saw the potential to spread the joy of transforming children’s masterpieces from overwhelming stacks of paper into beautiful and unique wall art. Martha has over ten years’ experience making art using laser technology, this knowledge and skill is used to lovingly convert the mini masterpiece into unique laser cut drawings which truly capture a memory in time.
Mash & Co. have a studio in Edinburgh where all stages of production takes place, from creating digital files, laser cutting, hand spray painting and assembling the drawing together. Each step of the way, Martha ensures the result is as close to the original drawing as possible, truly capturing the pure joy and magic of a child’s drawing.
