    We're reimagining Shakespearean characters as tarot cards and have portrayed Hamlet as The Hanged Man. This card usually represents the contemplation of a sacrifice that is needed in order to progress forward - whether as repentance for past errors or a step backward to recalculate his path onward. The Hanged Man has chosen his state as an act of meditative consideration and to take a pause in life before a seismic shift or a definitive decision. In the case of Hamlet, he is in a state of contemplation. Hamlet feels duty-bound to take revenge but is plagued with perpetual introspection which makes him doubt his decisions.

    Printed on matte card this print would make a wonderful addition to any office, library or study.
