Sip, Chat and Savour: unlock the flavours and stories of Scotland's best drams.
House Drams was launched in lockdown 2020 and started as makeshift virtual whisky tastings with friends and family. We would distribute whisky samples to friends and family discuss each dram until we had (almost!) forgotten about lockdown! We would look beyond supermarket shelves to select some of the most unique expressions in Scotch whisky.
We decided to launch House Drams with exactly the same philosophy – celebrate great Scottish drams and chat about them in a friendly, down-to-earth and accessible manner. We realised from our years working in a Scotch Bar in Scotland’s capital that whisky can be complex and, at times, intimidating. We hoped through House Drams we could encourage discussion about whisky and shine the spotlight on some of Scotland’s best (and often overlooked!) distilleries.
We’re a small independent business, allowing us to select the drams we love. That means in each set there is no sponsored liquid or deadstock, with each dram being hand-picked because we believe it to be best-in-class. So whether it is sampling different whiskies, learning more about Scotland’s distilleries or trying before you buy, we’re confident there is something in our tasting sets for you!

Sending out five or six samples to friends and family, the tasters would prove to be a huge hit and the penny quickly dropped that this could go down well on a larger scale.
