Founded in the summer of 2012 in the heart of the Shropshire countryside, Hold upon Heart was born from a desire to create meaningful, deeply personal jewellery.

Each piece we design is centred around your story — whether that’s preserving a loved one’s ashes, capturing the detail of a fingerprint, or celebrating the tiny handprints, footprints, or pawprints that mean so much. From handwritten notes and sketches to cherished photographs, our jewellery transforms life’s most precious moments into something lasting and wearable.

Our journey began with our own experiences as parents. As our family has grown and changed, so too has our story — but the love and care behind every piece we make remains at the heart of everything we do.

Emotion and memory are woven into every design. Whether it marks a moment of joy, connection, remembrance, or love, each piece is created to hold meaning and be treasured for years to come.

We combine traditional jewellery-making techniques with modern technology and expert craftsmanship to ensure exceptional quality. Every item is handmade in our workshop at Maws Craft Centre, nestled within the historic Ironbridge Gorge. From shaping, enraving, finishing, and packaging, each stage is handled with great care and attention.

Our process takes time — but that’s because every piece is individually crafted by hand. It’s this dedication that ensures your jewellery carries not only your story, but also the care, skill, and love we put into making it.
