About
I’m Hannah Marchant, an artist living and working in the heart of sunny Somerset. I specialise in illustration and delicate watercolour designs.
I love to spend my days drawing and painting turning my illustrations into greetings cards and products. I have a little studio based in Long Sutton, Somerset where I design, create and print all items myself. In my little studio you’ll find a couple of production printers (which I have a love/hate relationship with) my trusty guillotine and my creaser – which I could not live without! These bits of equipment are vital for creating the items I supply to stockists across the UK and the items I sell online in my little shop.
I love coming to my studio, which is situated on a working farm Upton Bridge Farm. It is full of character and is in a lovely part of Somerset. I am lucky to have come from an industrial printing background where I learnt about the processes and techniques for digital printing.

Plant the paper and watch it grow!
Here's a little more information about my little seed cards!
Fun, biodegradable greetings cards that you plant and watch grow!
All my seed cards are APHA (Animal & Plant Health Agency) tested and approved so they’re safe for planting. The veggie and herb seeds in the cards are safe for eating too! The paper only contains seeds that are of the highest quality. All the seeds handled are NON-GMO (genetically modified organism).
The handmade paper is made with post-consumer material, meaning that no new fibres were used in the production of the paper. When the paper itself is planted, it composts away leaving only wildflowers, herbs or veggies and NO Waste!
For best germination results, the card should be planted within 2 years. It will still grow beyond that but the germination rates will start to decline. Store in a cool, dry place, to preserve the germination rates for as long as possible.
