Description

This laser cut brooch embodies a classic pocket watch look. A white rabbit clock face swings on a chain from a typography fob questioning ‘Late?’

As part of Frilly’s Book Club, we wanted to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. This swinging timepiece brooch celebrates the urgency of Alice’s chase of the rabbit through Wonderland. Rabbit lover, literary fan, horologist or just tardy for all events? This brooch is for you or the friends you know so well.

This brooch comes beautifully packaged in a wax sealed box. Perfect to give as a gift or to treat yourself.

Made from

The rabbit, fob and watch face are made from FSC certified plywood on our laser cutter Bertha. This means it’s responsibly sourced wood from our local saw mill and laser cut and etched in our Jewellery Quarter studio, hurrah!

Each rabbit is hand painted in gouache paint.

The swinging chain is vintage sourced base metal chain and so may differ from that pictured.

Although the item has been sealed with varnish please keep away from water. The brooch back is a nickel barrel pin.
