Each toy is individually handmade from cotton and is fully lined with cotton for added durability. Cwtch Bear is stuffed with premium Canadian Catnip and a little wadding. He has embroidered detail to the front and an embroidered felt heart with the word 'Cwtch' securely stitched to his side. Purrfect for licking kicking and of course hugging.

Cwtch is a Welsh word that has no literal English translation, the nearest translation would be a cuddle, hug or snuggle. But a Cwtch is much more. A cwtch is evocative – it has the magical quality of transporting someone back to the safety of their childhood. if you give someone a cwtch, you're figuratively giving them a ‘safe place’. (It also means cupboard!!) If you are not sure how to pronounce Cwtch it rhymes with butch.
