I believe that educational posters for children should also be fun and gorgeous, and this certainly fits the bill!
Not only is this an A-Z alphabet poster representing each letter in both upper and lowercase, it also has a caption for each letter which emphasises that letter sound in practice in at least two words (e.g. "bathed at the beach" for the letter B, and "caught a crab" for the letter C) - perfect for children learning to read using phonics (as they do in school), and on top of that there is also a fun picture illustrating the caption.
Reading through each caption on the poster tells the story of a day in the life of Adam the antelope, from his first adventure of bathing at the beach through to getting tired at the end of a very busy day - yawning with a yak and going to sleep under a zigzag blanket!
This poster has years of use in it: fun pictures with lots of talking points for babies, the fun story for toddlers (join in and tickle them when you read "tickled a tortoise"!), recognising letters pre-school, supporting learning to read and phonics for school age.
One customer even told me that her teenager was captivated by the poster (she'd got it for her baby boy)!
The poster is available in two versions - the economy version is lythographically printed (a process commonly used for magazines and stationary which can be a bit dotty/grainy when looked at closely - you can see closeup photos on this page to inspect) on thin poster paper, the fine art version is printed on a high quality fine art printer on 200gsm heavyweight fine art paper with a gloss finish and is as good quality as a properly printed photograph. Obviously the fine art version is a higher quality product, in both print and paper quality, than the economy version.
This poster is a standard A2 in size (59.4cm x 42cm) and comes rolled and wrapped in bubble wrap and posted in a sturdy postal tube. The frame is not included.
