Coffee experts with a passion for high quality coffee and gifts
Dog and Hat was established in 2017 is run by the Morgan family from our old farmhouse on the outskirts of York. We relocated from the South of England to get more involved in the things we love in life - primarily that's our friends & family and our love of good coffee.
We are Speciality Coffee Association accredited business and we get a real kick out of researching coffees for our subscriptions and for you all to enjoy - when talking to new roasters and suppliers, we find the passion they have for coffee and the communities that grow it is infectious... and we're inspired to drive that passion to a wider audience.
Award winning coffee and gifts
Our goal is to provide you with an exceptionally varied selection of the highest quality coffee and gifts that this country has to offer with minimal fuss.
We take our environmental responsibility seriously - use only packing materials that can be recycled, print on recycled paper and our office uses 100% renewable energy. We also support Offset Earth's climate crisis solutions and they plant trees on our behalf to become climate positive - we now have over 124 trees in our forest.

Dog & Hat only chooses to work with coffee roasters whose beans are ethically sourced. This means complete traceability for the beans they use and a fair deal for the farming communities that grow them. Also, the company puts a real focus on roasters with worthy social initiatives.
