Our globe lamps are made of recycled whole capiz shells, each piece unique, using traditional Javanese artisanal methods. Capiz Shell is the inside lining of an oyster that is abundant in Indonesia. The oysters inside the capiz shells are edible and rather than wasting the shells, we purchase the recycled food by product and turn them into beautiful, sustainable lamps
