The first few digits of pi printed in the shape of a heart onto an original page from a vintage maths textbook.
The perfect Valentine’s Day gift for the romantic geek in your life! Pi is a very special number and so is your nerd!
The page is taken from a small a-format textbook and the piece measures approximately 12cm x 18cm (approx 5 inches x 7 inches)
The text is printed using Bookishly’s exclusive hand drawn font onto a beautiful old maths textbook. An original book page is used each time, making each piece unique to you. The frames are made using ethically sourced wood and are gift wrapped using a beautiful old road atlas.
The chunky black block frames are handmade in Northamptonshire by a local family business. There is no glass in these lightweight frames, so you can feel the lovely old page. I search old book shops and charity shops for pre-loved books to use in my art. The frames look great on bookshelves as they stand on their own, or can be hung flush to the wall.
You can also choose to have your book page print(s) completely unframed. Please note the pages are delicate, small, and are not standard frame sizes so if you are going to frame them yourself you will most likely need to have a custom mount/mat made.
12cm x 18cm (approx 5 inches x 7 inches)
There is approx 0.3cm of black frame showing around the page, and the frame is 3cm deep.
