Welcome to Bea Kind! The home of fun and planet-friendly craft kits designed to make people smile. I'm Bea and I started the brand in 2019 from my home studio in Dorset. Here I design and produce my range of craft kits, where everything is hand drawn and designed by me.
I strive to make beautiful quality products that make people happy and help the planet and pride myself on giving my customers an excellent service where I have achieved five-star ratings from 100% of my customers looking for an eco-friendly unique, lovable, quality gift that makes people smile.
Having gained a degree in Fashion, I started my career working for a well-known lifestyle clothing brand before being inspired to build my own brand based on my passion for hand-sewing, craft and helping the planet and the nature in it. All my craft kits are made from natural or recycled materials and my packaging is also 100% recycled and biodegradable.
I have always loved hand sewing as I love intricate, small details. I'll start with a quick sketch and make a template from that, before choosing my colours and any embellishments I want to use. I'm always getting new ideas and keep a notepad with me to jot down any doodles! Felt is definitely my favourite material to work with as I love the variety of colours available and it's a fab blank canvas for adding lots of different trims and hand-drawn embroidered details.
I love having fun with my work and creating different characters. My favourite part is embroidering all the faces on my items - I just love sewing all their little expressions! A lot of love and care goes into creating my products and I really hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them!
