Ethically crafted rattan furniture — where functional beauty meets natural charm.

We are three friends (from London, Brighton and Cape Town) who are passionate about crafting stylish, quirky homeware that upholds our deep love of design while being sustainably and ethically produced.

We met in Vietnam, which is where Bam and Bloom was born. We held a shared desire to create furniture that is beautiful and eco conscious as we were frustrated with the mass produced, non-sustainable products that were on the market.

And so our journey began with a clear pursuit - to unite function, beauty and ethics.

Having settled on rattan as a renewable, aesthetic and durable material we set off on a mission to source the best artisans and materials for our pieces. We have since entered into partnership with local rattan growers of Chuong My in the Red River Delta outside Hanoi, who sell rattan to us and we employ local artisans who skilfully bring our designs to life.

Our tables have been inspired by our homes and we have named them after these places.

We believe that we’ve made homeware that is not only beautiful to look at, but that is made in good conscience.
