These striped cotton teepees are perfect for relaxing in the garden, creating a nice shady spot for a picnic or a quiet place to read. They have tie back doors, a window on the back with a roll up curtain and side pockets for storing supplies. A lovely 3rd or 4th birthday gift.
The teepees were designed in the UK and are hand made in rural India by a fair trade company. The company have trained over 250 women in sewing and embroidery as part of an initiative supported by the state government’s District Rural Development Agency.
The teepees can be used indoors and out, though they are not waterproof and should not be left out in the rain. They are easy to assemble with a light metal frame and comes with a canvas bag where they can be stored away conveniently when not in use. A lightly padded cotton floor quilt designed to fit the base of the teepee is also available.
In choosing one of these teepees you are helping empower women to gain financial independence and support their families and they make lovely ethical gifts.

100% cotton (spot clean only) and aluminium frame. The floor quilt is 100% cotton washable. Tested to comply with the European Safety Standards and carries the CE mark. Suitable for children age 3+.
