Variations
The whole process only takes a few days, but you can keep infusing for longer if you’d like a stronger, more complex taste.
If you have ever had a good martini or manhattan, you understand the importance of having a bottle of vermouth at the ready. Our kit will teach you to make three different types of vermouth so you can get the basic recipe down, as well as start to recognise the different flavour profiles you can get. You’ll be able to make a red wine vermouth that’s sweet and spicy, a dry and herbal white wine vermouth with hints of lemon and rosemary, and a sweet white wine vermouth. All the vermouths can be drunk neat, over some ice, or as an ingredient in your favourite cocktails.
The kit is designed so that once you’ve mastered the recipes in the kit you can create your own blends using the same base recipe. You can make your vermouth out of any botanicals you like, from dried herbs to berries or flower petals.
