The perfect gift for anyone who loves life on 2 wheels. This wood cut road bike cyclist artwork is cut in to a single piece of poplar veneer and finsihed in a luxurious golden oak stain. Perfect for the bike lover in your life, who appreciates contemporary home decor and the thrill of the trails.
The inspiration for creating these unique laser cut pictures was to capture the shadow on the wall behind the picture. With the rear border of the picture a dramatic shadow is always cast and creates a wonderful 3d effect. As the pictures capture different lights during the day and evening the shadows will subtly change. The artwork was created from an original silhouette photographed and designed to be laser cut, giving it an incredibly intricate cut and feel.
This picture will make an ideal gift from anyone who loves their bike and road cycling. Our designs are all created from original photographs and produced by us from our small workshop in Macclesfield, Cheshire.
This product is finished in Golden Oak woodstain and a Danish Finishing Oil to bring the grain of the wood out. The picture is 28x28cm, and is presented in it's own gift box.

The scene is lasercut into the highest quality, poplar veneer plywood, which is designed specifically for use with laser cutters. This material produces an incredibly crisp cut which enables us to create highly intricate pieces which are completely robust.
The woodstains used are waterbased and non toxic.
The scene is ready to hang with a toothed picture hanging on the rear. They can be dusted lightly using a fine brush, or carefully using the brush attachment of a vacuum cleaner.
The design has been created to sit away from the wall slightly. This is achieved by securing with a second border on the rear of the piece. This helps to ensure that the scene stays flat and doesn't warp. This design style also provides enough space behind the scene to create an intricate shadow effect when the picture is hung somewhere near a good light source.
