This minimalistic design is a varnacular type of Japanese bath stool. Hand crafted in Japan with Hinoki cypress wood.
Perfect as stepping stool if you have tall cupboard and high shelves. Good for sitting, bathing and displaying as well.
No screws or nails are used for crafting this item.
As widely used as bath stool, this item is highly resistant to humidity with anti-mould properties that is naturally contained in wood.

Hinoki is one of the most valued types of wood in Japan. It is of cypress family and well known for its fragrant citric scent.
