A beautiful hand printed and hand cut couples star sign wood block print, illuminated and presented within a battery powered LED light box.
The perfect wedding, valentine or anniversary gift for a starry eyed couple. This little lightbox is a unique and memorable keepsake that will be treasured forever. Kept on a side table or shelf, as a cosy night light or hung on a gallery wall the print is beautiful when both lit up or switched off.
Variations
Choose two constellations from the twelve star signs, these will be arranged within the backdrop of the wood block printed circular night sky.
The optional personalisation on the print is names, special date (eg. wedding date, first date, date met...etc) and constellation names. All the text is hand typed using a well loved vintage typewriter and gives the print an aged, old world feel in it's style. Due to the age of the typewriter some of the typed characters do not line up exactly adding to the charm and vintage aged feel of the print.
The light box comes in a choice of black or white frame. It has a glass front and the LED lights require 8 AA batteries (not included).

The print within the frame has been hand printed from a ply-woodblock using midnight blue ink and a sprinkling of gold pigment for added sparkle. The handprinting technique creates an aesthetic in which ensures each print is completely original and unique. The gentle glow of the lights from behnd the print filters through the starry sky and the hand cut out stars shine slightly brighter revealing the chosen constellations.
