It can be displayed as artwork, a door plaque or room sign. It's a thoughtful gift that is especially created for a cherished young person in your life - and you can choose which words you would like to add to make it truly personal!
Variations
You can have names, dates, nicknames or a short message made up into the neutrally brown toned felt (e.g. 'Saffron, 2 Mar 2012', 'Saffy's Room', or 'Magical Little Saffy'). You may choose up to 22 characters. The words are stitched freehand - like joined-up writing - and will be stitched over 1 line into the neutrally toned brown felt which is then stuck underneath the fairy.
If you do not want words then please write 'none' in the name box and I will create a fairy with a stitched variegated thread swirl underneath as shown in the example.
There are a choice of fabrics available - all are cottons in a variety of fresh and appealing colours. You can choose the fabric combination in the drop down box opposite - further adding a personal touch to the finished artwork! A fabric sample card is included in the images to show you all the choices available.
You are also able to choose the wing colour, although if that's one decision too many then select 'Choose for me' and I will create a fairy with the wing colour I think works best!
Free gift wrapping is offered and the gift can be sent directly to the recipient. The artwork will be boxed up with ribbon and a handwritten gift tag.

The picture is created by a process called 'free-hand machine embroidery' - essentially drawing with sewing machine!
I stitch into card using fabric, thread, sparkly lace and pretty rhinestones!
The artwork is supplied in a locally made cream, lightweight, wooden frame. There is no perspex or glass covering the picture - allowing you to fully appreciate the textured artwork and making it safe to hang on a door using the stickies provided.
