A stunning handmade lampshade, made using my Oystercatcher bird fabric.
A modern Scandi style print, Oystercatcher, is new for 2018 and here it is printed on high quality cotton fabric and used to make this stunning drum lampshade.
The design features one of my favourite birds, common on the shore line along the south coast.
Variations
The shades come in a range of sizes and can be made to fit either a lamp base or ceiling light fitting. Just make your selections when purchasing for the perfect addition to your room, a great way to update your decor without having to decorate!

Dimensions
To give an idea of how your lamp will look the shade shown is a 30cm diameter shade.
Sizes available are as follows:
20cm diameter x 18cm high
30cm diameter x 21cm high
40cm diameter x 25cm high

The pvc lining used on the inside of the shade is flame retardent and has passed the glow wire test carried out by the Lighting Association. I recommend the use of low energy bulbs with my shades as they generate less heat therefore avoiding the problem of scorching the shade.
The frame fits a standard bayonet fitting( BC) but can also be adapted to fit E27 lampholders most commonly found in Europe. This is done by removing the inner ring of the lamp frame fitting.
