A detailed and intricate handcrafted papercut of two lovers embracing underneath the Queen Victoria Memorial statue at the front of Buckingham Palace.
Delicate handcrafted papercut. Each papercut has been carefully and intricately cut from an original drawing
This series focuses on the people of the city of London or Cambridge ... the romantic, vain, hopeful or lost characters who inhabit the city. In the background is a glimpse of a famous landmark - the Queen Victoria Memorial outside Buckingham Palace.
The papercut will look perfect either framed in a traditional single glass fronted frame or in a floating frame (where the image is sandwiched between 2 sheets of clear glass and perspex). If held in a floating frame the image appears to magically hover in mid-air, casting a gentle shadow of itself against the wall.
Available either unframed or framed in a ‘floating’ glass/perspex wooden frame.
Please note that if framing is required, this will take an additional day for me to dispatch.
Papercut: Cut from acid-free 230gsm paper; coated with light-fast Shellac black Indian ink.
Frame: A front layer of glass and a layer of acrylic mounts the papercut.
Papercut size: 39cm x 29cm
Wooden frame size: 42.5cm x 32.5cm
