This decorative pot is a handmade, one-off, eco friendly product, made from damaged and unused coloured computer paper.
Each page is layered together and compressed into a block, once dried it is then turned on a wood lathe.
Wood becomes paper becomes wood.
A vanish coating is then added to protect the paper and enhance the colours appearing in the surface patternation.
This pot is very intriguing and tactile; it’s hard to believe it is made entirely from paper.
This piece has been signed and dated by Hannah Lobley.
Handmade using recycled paper, turned on a lathe.
The piece is approximately 11cm in height and 17cm in diameter.
