Each character is individually stamped by hand so there may slight variations in alignment and spacing of characters. This is part of the unique charm of a hand-stamped piece, which is a different process to machine engraved and is not considered a fault.

14 kt rolled gold or gold filled is an actual layer of 14 kt gold pressure-bonded ('rolled') to the core metal. Rolled Gold is different from gold plating or vermeil as rolled gold literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Rolled gold is more valuable and tarnish resistant and if well cared for can last for years.
