Personalised Leather Bookmark

Made of vegetable-tanned leather using an old leather craft technique called plugging. The top of the bookmark is cover with a fine layer of leather. While wet, it is molded around letters to achieve this unique plugged effect. The long puller is hand-stitched. We are using the best quality vegetable tanned leather from Belgium's and Italian tanneries. All edges have been hand-burnished with Gum Tragacanth for smooth edges.

Please note that all our accessories are made from vegetable-tanned leather. This type of natural skin forms a patina over time and would age beautifully with the use. As a natural material, leather might also contain variations in colour and texture.
